This is the balloon rocket we made. We discovered that the amount of air inside the balloon impacts how far it travels.

Balloon Rocket
Today we made a balloon rocket. We measured and compared the length of each balloon launch using informal equipment including dominoes, icy-pole sticks and unifix blocks. Above is the Youtube clip that we used to guide our experiment.
Corn Flour Slime
As part of our Whizz Bang Pop Inquiry we made slippery and sticky slime! We mixed cornflour and water together into a thick white consistency. We got very dirty but it was great fun to play with.
Cloud in a Jar
As part of our Whizz Bang Pop Inquiry we made a cloud in a jar, investigating why and how it rains.

On Thursday the 4th of September 1/2AC participated in Historical Day. We got dressed up and really got a feel for what it was like in the olden days.
